Betty Earlene Meeks 82 of Black Rock departed from this life, January 29, 2022, in the Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas. Born June 17, 1939, in Ravenden; she was the daughter of Earl and Leona Holland Dail. Betty was united in marriage to Frankie Meeks of Black Rock on December 24, 1954. Betty was retired from Skil and was a member of the Church of Christ in Black Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frankie Meeks Sr.; three brothers, Roy Dail, Bob Dail and J.D. Dail; a daughter in law, Robin Meeks and her stepfather, Clay Dotson. She is survived by three children, daughter, Cheryl Chastain and Mike of Black Rock, son, Frankey Meeks Jr and Cathrene of Black Rock, and son, Jimmy Meeks of Williford; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 10 A.M. in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock with Steve Prestidge officiating. Pallbearers will be Frankey Meeks, Jimmy Meeks, Misti Chastain, Derek Meeks, Lance Loggains, and Matthew Stewart.
