Carl Junior Mans

March 27, 1936 - January 11, 2021

Carl Junior Mans, 84 of Walcott, AR; passed away at his home on Monday, January 11, 2021. Born March 27, 1936 in Cowell, AR, son of the late Thurman and Pearly Mans. Carl was united in marriage to Mary Louise Brown on November 5, 1958. He served in the United States Army as a PFC from 1955-1957. He was a self-employed Central Heat and Air and appliance repairman. He also worked at Arkansas Glass in Jonesboro, AR until he retired. He loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved playing a good game of checkers. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Brown Mans, a daughter Lisa Ann Prescott, his parents Thurman and Pearly Mans, three sisters Tessie Mans, Alene Jackson and Iva Parks, and three brothers J.W. Mans, Herbert Mans, and Kenneth Mans. Survivors include four children, Larry (Sonia) Mans of Walcott, Kathy Elliott, of Oxford, MS, Sandy Fender of Walnut Ridge, AR, and Debbie (Wayne) Widener of Armorel, AR; two brothers, Gary Mans of Pocahontas, AR and Leon Mans of Georgia; two sisters, Glenda Sue Moody of Walnut Ridge and Shirley Shultz of Reno, AR; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation to be held at Bryan Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2021 with Pastor Troy Sharp officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny and Michael Elliott, Bobby and Mark Hatfield, Travis Fender, Michael Widener, Christopher Crader Jr., and Hunter Crader. Funeral services following at 2:00 pm.
