Curtis Ray Lamb

January 10, 1918 - April 8, 2018

Curtis Ray Lamb, 100 of Walnut Ridge, passed away April 8, 2018 in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. Born January 10, 1918 in Walnut Ridge; son of the late Leonard and Mattie Elizabeth Manning Lamb. He was a farmer and a member of the Oak Hill General Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lillie Mae; two brothers, Cledith and Jack Lamb; four sisters, Evelyn Rutledge, Grace Heard, Ruth and Hazel Whitmire. He is survived by one son, Jerry (Debbi) Lamb of Jonesboro; two daughters, Debbie (Larry) Reithemeyer of Hoxie and Reba (Ralph) Grooms of Hoxie; five grandchildren, Barton and Brady Reithemeyer, Kassie Davis, Michelle Brown and Karena Grooms; seven great grandchildren; four sisters, Ester Floyd, Opal Christian, Lillie Mae Whitmire and Iva Atkinson; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2 P.M. in the Oak Hill General Baptist Church with Bro. Craig Lee and Jim Bigger officiating. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and family. Interment will follow in the Manning #1 Cemetery near Hoxie. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel.
