Donald C Hackworth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donald Cletus Hackworth, 76 of Hoxie passed away suddenly March 14, 2020. Born April 24, 1943 in Dalton; son of Ted and Lena King Hackworth. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Bradley on November 20, 1964. Don worked and retired from Riceland Foods in Jonesboro. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a well-known in the community for his friendliness and Christmas Spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara in 2014; three brothers, Jim, Joe and Richard Hackworth and a sister, Doris Engle. Survivors include his two sons, Rev. J Randal (Brenda) Hackworth of Enid, OK and L.D Hackworth of Seattle, WA; a granddaughter, Kaya Hackworth of Enid, OK; two brothers, Larry Hackworth of Ravenden Springs and Ted Hackworth of Piggott; three sisters, Mary Dulaney of Hoxie, Lucy Brown of Pocahontas and Peg March of Marshall, MO; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and close friends. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Fitzgerald officiating. Pallbearers will be John and Tom Dulaney, Steve Hackworth, Bobby Engle, Ronnie and Greg Coats. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M.
