Elton Glen Allen

May 21, 1956 - May 6, 2018

Elton Glen Allen, 61 of Walnut Ridge, died May 6, 2018 at his residence. Born May 21, 1956 in Savannah, GA; son of Henry Eston and Annella Isbell Allen. He was united in marriage to Cindy Ditto on August 6, 1995. He was a Musician his whole life and played the Bass Guitar in the band, Summer Wine; and played and toured with several major artist and bands. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Janice Edward and Elaine Stone. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Allen of the home; one son, Eston Allen of Walnut Ridge; one grandson, Conor Raye Allen of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Ann Nix of Jacksonville and Belinda Carrington of North Little Rock; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be Thursday evening at 5 P.M. in the New Life Cathedral in Hoxie with Bro. David Craig officiating. A private interment will take place in the Bayou Meto Cemetery near Jacksonville.
