James Baudie Harp

September 5, 1941 - February 19, 2022

James Baudie Harp Jr. ,80, of Hoxie passed away Saturday February 19th, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born September 5th, 1941, in Strawberry, Arkansas. He was united in marriage to Janice Selvidge Harp on January 25th, 1963. He graduated the Nashville Auto Diesel College and earned a living driving Trucks until he retired in 2007. He enjoyed being outdoors, Hunting, Fishing, attending sales and auctions, and being a collector of many things. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Baudie Harp Sr. (2013) and Ruth L. Roberts Harp (2013) of Hoxie and Eldest Son Joe Allen Harp (2006), Brothers Noel Edward Harp of Hoxie (1982) and Jerry Wayne Harp of Black Rock (2005). Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Janice; two Sons, Jeff Harp of Walnut Ridge and Jimmy Harp (Denise) of Paragould; a brother, Gary George Harp (Rosetta) of Newport; Six Grandchildren, Travis Middlecoff of Walnut Ridge, Tanner Middlecoff (Lauren) of Jonesboro, Blaine Middlecoff (Kyla) of Manila, Brad Harp of Walnut Ridge, Gage and Henley Harp of Paragould; and many other relatives and friends Graveside services will be Friday, February 25, 2022, at 1 P.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park with Gary Cremeens and Chris Harper officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason, Keith, Robert, Will and John Harp, Bret Sullivan, Bart and David English. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Children’s Home of Paragould.
