Janice Lee Reynolds

Janice Reynolds, 68 of Jonesboro, formerly of Portia, passed away April 5, 2020 at her home in Jonesboro, where she had resided for the past 12 years. Born September 11, 1951 in Walnut Ridge, she was the daughter of Jewell and Adeline (Ervin) Reynolds. Janice was always aware of her blessings as a beloved only child of older parents. She was a member of the Coffman Free Will Baptist Church but while living in Jonesboro, she attended The First Baptist Church. Janice was a 1969 graduate of Black Rock High School. She then received her BSF from Arkansas State University in 1976, then went on to receive her MSE from ASU in 1978. She was a kindergarten and second grade teacher at Westside Elementary for 35 years. She was known for her no-bake cookies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Adeline Reynolds. Survivors include numerous family and friends, Butch Burrow that said she was his soulmate. Graveside Service will be Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lawrence Memorial Cemetery in Walnut Ridge with Bro.Vance Penn Officiating. Pallbearers will be Hunter and Lee Smith, Barry, Randy, and Scotty Bryant, Tom Wakefield, and Bill Sabin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gale Linebaugh, Doyle Murphy, and James Dean.
