Marie Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tisha Marie Miller, 96 of Hoxie; departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born on February 11, 1926, in Swifton; daughter of the late, Leo and Cordelia Jarrett Wagner. Marie was united in marriage to T.Z. Miller in 1946. She was a very hard worker in the cotton patch, a homemaker, and the very best cook. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She is preceded by her parents; her husband, T.Z. in 2001; and a daughter, Patsy Wicker; one grandson, Brian Binkley; and a great grandson, Blain Davis; three sisters; four brothers; three son-in-law’s, Chuck Grist, Ronald Matthews, and Harold Foley. Survivors include two sons, Jim (Betty) Miller of Hardy and Billy (Denise) Miller of Benton; one son-in-law, Jim Wicker of Fontaine; eight daughters, Carolyn Matthews of Walnut Ridge, Linda Foley of Smithville, Tomie Jean Grist of Walnut Ridge, Brenda (Shawn) Meeks of Ferndale, Naedean (Rick) Mayland of Portia, Patricia (Clayton) Brown of Pocahontas, Joyce Smith of Walnut Ridge, and Debbie Burns of Walnut Ridge; nineteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 2 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Rick Mayland and Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Interment will follow in the Oak Forrest Cemetery in Black Rock. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. till 2 P.M. Tuesday.
