W. D. "William Daniel" Ward

July 13, 1956 - June 18, 2021

W.D. (William Daniel) Ward, 63 formally of Hoxie; died June 18, 2021, in Jonesboro. Born July 13, 1957, in Batesville; son of J.O. and Lou Runyan Ward. He was of the Catholic faith and a truck driver by trade. W.D. enjoyed reading, watching old movies, listening to music, being outdoors and anything truck related. He loved laughing, joking, and spending time with his brothers and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, J.O.; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a brother, Johnny Ward. Survivors include his mother, Lou formally of Hoxie; his six siblings, Anna (Bill) Rice of Ravenden, James (Diane) Ward of Williford, Linda Church of Walnut Ridge, Betty (Roger) Hunt of Savannah, TN, Michael (Inez) Ward of Williford, and Tracy (Brian) Wallace of Atoka, TN; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 1 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Joe Ward officiating. Pallbearers will be James Ward, James Allen Ward, Michael Ward, and Michael Ward II, Brian Rice, and Billy Rice. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
