William Morris Nunally

December 31, 1940 - July 18, 2020

William Morris “Bud” Nunally, 79 of Black Rock passed from this life July 18, 2020 in his home. Born December 31, 1940 in Imboden, He was a lifetime resident of Black Rock. Bud graduated Black Rock High School as the Valedictorian of his class. He worked a few different jobs in his younger years but most remember him as a very skilled carpenter. He was of the Church of Christ belief and a loving husband, father and good friend. Bud was married to Patricia (Patty) Sue Weir on July 17 1959; they spent 56 precious years together before Her passing on October 2, 2015. He is also preceded in death by his parents, William and Clara Marie Pickney Nunally; five sisters, Norma Payne, Barbara (Bobbie) Robinson, Betty Smith, Elsie Williams and Joyce Nunally; one brother, Alvin (Sonny) Nunally and a great granddaughter, Ashylnn Tubbs. Survivors include four sons, Nelson Nunally (Teresa), Mitchell Nunally (Robin), Daniel Nunally (Kim), Joseph Nunally; one daughter, Christie Nunally Settles (Jeff); two brothers, Charlie Nunally and Dale Nunally; two sisters, Ruth Morrison and Linda Mims; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be Thursday July 23, 2020 at 10 A.M. in the Oak Forrest Cemetery in Black Rock with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerimiah Settles, Garrett Thompson, Darryl Huckabee, Dooder, Whitney, Hunter Nunally. Honorary Pallbearers are his sons.
